Corporate Sponsorship

Demonstrate your company’s commitment to the community and its promotion as a cultural tourism destination.  Corporate sponsorship also provides a platform for recognition and visibility to an influential demographic.

Sponsorship packages can be tailored to meet the marketing and branding objectives of your specific business.  Our corporate sponsors are fully recognized through company logo display on the festival’s website and summer program book, display of signage and marketing materials at festival events, and verbal recognition at our summer concerts.  In addition, the Charlotte New Music Festival is fiscally sponsored by The Savvy Organization which is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, making all contributions tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Corporate ‘In-Kind’ Donations

A business may also choose to support the Festival with donations of goods, services, and promotions.  Some important examples include:

  • Donating accommodations to our musicians (or a reduction in rates),
  • Donating meals to our musicians (or a reduction in fare),
  • Advertising CNMF at your place of business (on-line included).

All In-Kind donors will have their business listed on this website and in concert programs.  Businesses whose ‘In-Kind’ donations are valued over $1,000 will have their company logo and web link featured on this website and in all printed concert programs. All donations are tax-deductible.

Foundation Support and Grants

Contributions from private and family foundations are vital to addressing the needs of the Charlotte New Music Festival.  We welcome and encourage grants of various kinds – from general operating support to those designated to fund specific areas of the Festival.  Support from foundations will ensure the continued growth and development of the Charlotte New Music Festival.

The Charlotte New Music Festival program book is provided at all Festival events where it is referenced before, during, and after performances.  The book is also distributed around the region to local businesses, shops, and hotels prior to the concert series.  Nearly 100 percent of audience members read this publication!  The book is also read by our participating musicians who continue to reference it post-season at leading universities, conservatories, and concert halls around the nation.  CNMF patrons save, cherish, and share their book for years as prized mementos.

Spectators of the Charlotte New Music Festival are an ideal audience for local merchants and a great demographic to advertise to.  Our patrons are well educated, successful, and active in the community.  By advertising in this publication, you are not only supporting the region’s newest cultural attraction, you will be exposing your business to an influential clientele as well.

Host A Guest Artist

We rely on local families to house our guest musicians, composers, and choreographers.  If you have an extra room in your home and live within 10 miles of Charlotte, NC, we need your help!  Host families need to provide only a sleeping space and bathroom – something as basic as a pull-out couch is good too!  Meals and transportation do not need to be provided and hosts may choose to provide space for only a portion of the Festival’s dates if desired.  Also, hosts are always welcome to choose their prospective house guests.

Hosting for CNMF can be a unique and rewarding experience!  You get the chance to meet extremely talented music and dance artists, some of which are traveling across the country to perform here in Charlotte.  Help us make their first experience in our beautiful community a great one!

The festival takes place June 18-30 and guests may stay for just a few days or during the whole festival.  The number of guests and the duration of hosting is completely up to you depending on what you are able to, or comfortable with, providing.

Please call 704.951.5910 or email to offer your help!

The Charlotte New Music Festival, is gearing up for its 7th year in Charlotte, NC this coming June 18-30.  The festival is gaining momentum and to meet the needs of attendees, audience members, speakers, and guests, we need an enthusiastic and dedicated volunteer force!  We’re looking for positive, passionate, responsible individuals to help register attendees, check tickets, setup for a concert, be a stagehand, work with the special guests, and assist with all of the other tasks that make this festival a success.  If you have a talent that you can volunteer, such as photography, sound, backstage experience, that is a huge plus!

In return for 15 hours of work, volunteers receive full access to all of the events at the Charlotte New Music Festival: concerts, masterclasses, lectures, & roundtable discussions.  Plus, being a volunteer offers ample opportunities for networking with other volunteers, attendees, guest artists, and audience members.
